At Mane Character, all pieces are made from 00% remy human hair, hairlines are carefully constructed and the cap construction allows for natural movement.
For anyone new to wearing alternative hair, consultations are there to help guide you, so there is no need to learn about the terminology or come with a clear idea of what size you needr. The consultation process is simple, private and tailored to you.
Lace Front Construction
Designed for a natural finish and everyday ease, the lace front construction combines realism with secure, comfortable wear. Lace front constructions are effortless to put on, making it an ideal choice for everyday wear.
A large 5.5 inch deep lace front using the thinnest HD lace creates a generous, natural-looking parting space, allowing you to wear your hair in a variety of styles and partings with confidence. The wide lace area gives flexibility to adapt the look to suit you, whether you prefer a centre part, a side part or something in between.
The cap is designed with comfort and security in mind. It includes three discrete combs as standard (one at each side and one at the nape), which can be removed if preferred. A removable, adjustable band at the back provides additional security without the need for adhesive, and adjustable hook fasteners allow you to customise the fit to your head size.
Structured ear tabs help anchor the wig in place and ensure a consistent, natural positioning around the hairline.

Full Lace Construction
The full lace construction offers the highest level of versatility and realism, designed for those who want complete freedom in styling and the most natural possible movement.
The cap is crafted with the thinnest HD lace at the front and sides for an undetectable hairline while stretchy lace at the back provides a comfortable, flexible fit that adapts to your head shape.
Each piece is entirely hand-tied, creating natural scalp appearance and allowing the hair to move naturally in any direction. This construction gives full styling freedom, including high ponytails, updos, and off the face styling without compromising on realism.
All knots are fully bleached, creating a natural scalp appearance and allowing for unrestricted parting across the entire cap.
For security and ease of wear, the cap includes a removable, adjustable band at the back, meaning it can be worn gluless. However, many wearers choose to use adhesives for additional hold when wearing full lace, particularly when styling away from the face. For this reason, full lace is often best suited to those with some experience in wearing wigs.
Unstructured ear tabs provide a more flexible finish around the sides.
